Dr. John C. Zelazowski

Dr. John C. Zelazowski is proud to continue a family tradition of eyecare.

Dr. Zelazowski is a longtime resident of the Pittsburgh area and has been practicing optometry in the Cheswick location since 1998. Dr. Z graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Chemistry, and in 1998 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with his doctorate. He graduated with honors from the EYE Institute of Philadelphia in pediatric and primary eye care. Dr. Zelazowski completed his training in the Wilkes Barre Veterans hospital and at The Eye Foundation of Utah.

Dr. Zelazowski has special clinical interests in Glaucoma, Diabetes, laser refractive correction, and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Z is certified in ocular disease management and ocular emergency.

Dr. Zelazowski is a lifetime member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and is a founding member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Partnership for Progress.

In his spare time Dr. Z enjoys time with family and is an avid golfer and skier.

Dr. John W. Zelazowski

Dr. John W. Zelazowski is a lifelong resident of the Cheswick area and a graduate of Springdale high School, Muskingum College, and Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

As an optometrist, he began his private practice in Aspinwall. Partially retiring in 2016, a love for eyecare called Dr. Z back to practice part time with his son in Cheswick.

Dr. Z is a lifetime member of the American Optometric Association, Charter member of the contact lens section and past President of the Middle Atlantic Optometric Congress. Dr. Z loves serving his community and was past President of the Fox Chapel Kiwanis Club.
